How will you be spending the holidays this year? What are you most looking forward to?
I’ll be at home with my family in the countryside. I am filming season 3 of Poldark [the British television series in which Wilde stars] until just before Christmas, so the time at home will be a welcome break. I want to make it magical for my two boys. It is my youngest son’s first Christmas.

What do the holidays mean to you?
Being at home with family and wrapped up warm inside with log fires and lots
of food.

Do you have a family tradition you take part in every year?
Every year we have a big dinner on Christmas Eve, then go to Midnight Mass in the Cathedral. It’s always freezing but so festive and romantic.

What is the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?
When I was 9, I was given a puppy. She lived for 18 years and we were very close. She was definitely the best Christmas present I’ve ever had.

The holidays are all about being at home with family and wrapped up warm inside with log fires and lots of food.

What is #1 on your wish list this year?
Piano lessons. I have long fingers so I’ve always been told I should be a natural!

What do you plan on gifting this year?
I like to buy things for my husband that he can have forever and that will hold a memory. I have been giving him a piece of art each Christmas for the last few years.

Are you a last minute kind of shopper, or do you like to plan ahead?
A bit of both. I like planning, but also feel a last minute dash to shops is part of Christmas too!

Do you change up your beauty routine to account for all the extra
holiday merriment?
I make sure to use a heavier, more nourishing moisturizer to stop my skin from getting dry from central heating. I love Revitalizing Supreme+.

What do you always make sure to have with you for every party?
Illuminating Perfecting Primer, a good black mascara (I love Sumptuous Knockout), and a good eyebrow pencil. The new Brow Multi-Tasker gives me everything I need in one pencil!
